A1 Power is the energy generation arm of the A1 campus — built to do what New Jersey's grid urgently needs: add new, reliable power instead of drawing it down. We generate on site, feed our own data center campus, and deliver surplus capacity back to the grid and to industrial users across the region.

In January 2026, New Jersey declared a state of emergency over electricity affordability. Wholesale capacity prices have hit record highs, residential rates now run roughly 25% above the national average, and demand is climbing for the first time in two decades — with new generation unable to keep pace.The single most-cited driver of that demand? Large power users like data centers. A1 Power exists to flip that equation. Rather than adding load to a strained grid, we bring our own generation to the table — powering our campus independently and putting surplus capacity back into the system that everyone around us depends on.

At the heart of A1 Power is a 100 MW substation and on-site generation infrastructure engineered for independence. We produce our own power to run the A1 campus — so our growth doesn't compete with homes and businesses for scarce grid capacity. This is dispatchable, reliable generation sited exactly where load lives, eliminating the transmission bottlenecks and interconnection delays that have stalled new supply across the region.
